Regional Conference on the History and Philosophy of Science

'Moving Beyond Darwin: the New Evolution' is the theme for the 22nd annual Regional Conference on the History and Philosophy of Science. Keynote speakers will present on evolution-related topics: John Dupre on 'The Friendly Germ Meets the Selfish Gene'; Jan Sapp on 'The Microbial Evolution Revolution'; and Norm Pace on 'Sequence Based Perspective on the Organization and History of Life'. The conference is now accepting abstracts and papers. Presentations will be allotted approximately one-half hour each. Although preference will be given to papers dealing with issues in biology, submissions in any area of history or philosophy of science will be considered.
