FIELD, a twice-yearly journal, aims to publish the very best of contemporary poetry and poetics.

The Spring 2009 issue (#80) will be the largest in FIELD's history. This special all-poetry issue, commemorating our 40th anniversary, includes great new work by D. Welcome to the online home of FIELD, a twice yearly journal of contemporary poetry and poetics. FIELD has published spring and fall issues each year since its founding in 1969. Would-be contributors: we read poetry year-round, and usually send replies within two months. Enclose a stamped, self-addressed envelope for reply.
